Taking the architectural, programmatic elements requested by our client in conjunction with the conceptual site/master plan; we develop the architectural language of the project. The designs are developed, refined, and presented through the conventions of floor plans, sections, elevations, 3-D modeling, and rendering programs. Understanding and implementing the project budget through the proposed design is critical at this phase. Finalized schematic and conceptual designs are often used in project entitlement processes for approval. I.e., zone change, other zoning/governmental approvals, architectural review board approvals, etc.

Fully developing the design into a set of working construction documents that MRW will submit for approval by the approving agencies is the next phase. Disciplines provided in this phase include architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and civil. MRW provides these disciplines both through in-house resources or by working with select sub-consultants as the project’s needs and project schedule dictates.

By having in-house engineering resources we have the ability to receive engineering expertise, and involvement, in all stages of design with more consistent and immediate direction through design completion.
