Greg Mathis - President
Greg has over 18 years of professional experience in design, construction, and project management in Southern Utah. His first position using Computer Aided Drafting was in 1989. Greg began working for Rick Rosenberg in 1993 and became experienced in land planning, subdivision design, commercial site design, preparation of improvement drawings, and construction engineering. He joined Watts Construction in 1995 and worked with local architectural and structural firms in the design of value engineered construction projects. He prepared preliminary site plans and site feasibility studies for potential new construction projects.
In 1997, Greg, along with Rick Rosenberg and Doug Watts, founded MRW Design Associates in order to provide the highest level of Design Build Services available. He has been the project manager and lead designer for a majority of the projects which MRW Design has completed. Greg has been involved in receiving government approvals for all the projects which MRW has completed, including Planning and Zoning, Engineering, and Building Department approvals before and during the commencement of a project.
Jeff Mathis - Interim Architect
Jeff began drafting in a professional environment as a high school student and while attending Dixie College. While employed at Rosenberg Associates, Jeff completed civil construction drawings, which included land master planning, infrastructure, site grading, and public road design. He met with clients and public officials, and assisted with drainage studies and reports, survey plats, and site inspections/revisions. Jeff took two years out of his work and education to serve as an ambassador for the L.D.S. church in Scotland. Upon returning in 1998, he began working for MRW Design and enrolled in the school of Architecture at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Jeff completed undergraduate and graduate studies to obtain a professional degree in Architecture in 2007. Jeff is an integral team member at MRW, providing project continuity from concept to completion. He provides complete project design and drafting and works with key project players from site and building design to construction document production, and through the required governmental approval process.
Mark Wilson, AIA - Associated Architect
Mark Wilson began working in the field of Architecture in 1976 as a draftsman while completing school at the University of Utah. After graduation in 1987 Mark worked as a staff Architect for several firms in Northern Utah until forming his own firm in 1993: Mark Wilson Architects. Since the establishment of Mark Wilson Architects, he has had the opportunity to provide design services for a wide range of projects including office buildings of various sizes, retail stores, automobile dealerships, industrial buildings, institutional buildings including schools and churches, and municipal and public works facilities. Mark joined MRW Design Associates in 1998.
